Jean Frances Ellington, 81, passed away June 19, 2015 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, N.C.
A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Sabelia B. Clark. She retired from Murdoch Center in Butner as a Healthcare Technician after many years of dedicated service.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday June 22, 2015 at Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Eakes Funeral Home.
Surviving are two sons; David Wayne Ellington of Oxford, Harold Lee Ellington (Jeanette) of Creedmoor, a daughter, Diane Ellington Abbott of Creedmoor, a sister, Shirley Ridenour of Canton, a brother, George Clark of Hickory, six grandchildren; Chad E. Abbott, Kyle E. Abbott, Cody W. Ellington, Shelly P. Ellington, Harley B. Ellington and Brandon C. Ellington, three great-grandchildren; Brynn P. Abbott, Chloe L. Ellington and Beau E. Abbott and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; James Clark and Claude Clark, six sisters; Alice Wilson, Elsie Montague, Thelma Wilkins, Mildred Mulchi and her twin sister, Joyce Corosu.
